Biker vs. 1%'r

Bikers are whatever you want it to be. When you see a guy riding a bicycle you call them a cyclist, not a poser etc.I personally think if you ride your a biker if you dont your not.

I agree that asking that question here will probably lead to more confusion than any good answer on that subject. Most people on here don't agree as to what a "biker" means or what a "1 %er" means. You are far less likely to get any straight info on the difference between the two. In some cases, I see the same people making conflicting arguments about each.

I'm not convinced there are hard definitions for anything related to those who ride on two wheeled motorbikes. Some reason we always tend to label the bad guys vs good guys. And the undesirables are those we least understand or "think" we don't relate to...

I always find the language differences fun as a brit living in the US, I suppose it didn't help that we only gave you colonists half the language before we allowed you to be independent. Such is life.

A 1%er is a type of biker, just like a F150 is a type of pickup truck. But not all pickup trucks are F150s.
As for what a biker is... use this simple formula:
"I ride XXX number of miles per year, so I am a biker." (where XXX = your mileage)
"Anyone who rides less that XXX miles per year, or makes more money than me cannot be a serious biker, and is a poser!"
