Poseurs, Newbies- funniest darn thing- !
Arizona Bike Week is on now- welcome to our great weather, scenery and helmet choice.
I saw a BUNCH of out of State riders wearing helmets plastered with anti-helmet law stickers.
I got no beef or interest in someone choosing to wear a helmet, but the "I'm not wearing this helmet by choice" sticker makes me laugh--- 'cause they don't have to wear one while they are here.
I wonder where they parked the trailer

I use to always wear a helmet. Now, not all the time. I have always thought helmet laws were stupid. Just bc i chose to wear one didn't mean I thought you should. It is not the government's job to protect citizens from themselves. To each there own.

OP: Is you point that AZ doesn't have a helmet law and they can take them off but didn't? Did I miss your point?

I'm in the "I typically wear a helmet and think helmet's should be a choice" boat.
I guess personally I don't see the point in advertising that you hate helmets on your helmet nor does that make them posers or trailer queens.

I agree that it's not the government's job to protect citizens from themselves. I don't understand how every state can have a seatbelt law, but not a helmet law. Don't get me wrong, I don't want a helmet law in every state but how can states justify not having a helmet law but having a seatbelt law?

maybe they are from a state where helmets are mandatory and as a result, have stickers on their helmets showing their distaste for said law. I used to live in a helmet mandatory state, and had similar stickers on my helmet. How that correlates to trailering, I don't know? I often rode thru Helmet-free states getting from point A to point B with my helmet on and no trailer in sight.
