I have guys from work that I ride with and we are pretty close friends. I don't ride with my best friend anymore because he stole my girlfriend.

Guess that 86'd the best friend status. That blows in a way. Maybe he did you a favor though.

I moved to SC from NY 15 years ago. My buddy in Buffalo, and I will ride and meet half way, usually West Virginia. We keep talking about riding cross country. We aren't getting any younger.

and yes, you are probably homesick.
I have a couple guys at work that I will go ride with once in a while. I just signed up for the PGR but that's a little different. My wife has expressed an interest but I'm not pushing it either way and she and I always have fun together.

Thanks to everyone for the replies.

I frequently ride with my closest friend, and some other long-time friends. A couple of rides every year with one of my youngest brothers, some occasional group rides with acquaintances. And I ride alone nearly every day. Basically, I ride.
