I love the people that have never ridden a bike in their lives who say that a 55 degree day is a beautiful day for a nice long bike ride. I tell them they obviously have never ridden a bike because it is friggin cold you idiot. I get this alot in the spring just as the weather starts to warm up. Mostly idiots I work with that can barely walk let alone ride a bike!!

Next time don't break the Prozac in half!

Seriously, there are MUCH better things to get pissed about than that.
The one that always amuses me is when I am on the job & walking through an apartment complex wearing my respirator mask & rubber gloves, carrying my spray can & bait gun & people ask me "You sprayin' for bugs?" I'll usually reply "What gave it away?"

55F??? That's a normal and nice mid-summer day here. Not often we get a whole lot warmer than that....maybe a few days in the mid60's and very rarely in the 70's. So, yah, I'll ride in the 50's...even the 40's. It may be a bit cool, but I dress for it....even in the mid30's, then I really dress for it.
