What irks me a lot more are the ones who say "OMG, you're going to kill yourself," Or, "Don't you feel so unsafe?" Shiz like that . . .

Cool

I don't get that question much anymore because I stay away from people.
When I do hear, 'why aren't you riding your bike, motorcycle, Harley or Hog
today?"
I say, "Ride, I didn't buy that pile of junk to ride. Do you think I want to be seen
on something like that?" And then just walk away. The looks are priceless!!

My favorite none biker saying " a little snow and ice wouldn't stop a real biker". I always say "it would if they had any brains".

I never get asked that question since I haven't had a car for over 6 years. Not that I wouldn't have driven a car a few times if I had that choice available.

Yeah I just saw your bike for the first time today and also feel the need to comment on it's awesomeness...love it, great job!

I get asked why I don't ride to work ... I'm just being considerate & it's a must for neighbor relations, don't want to crank up my skirt blowers @ 530am and ****-off my entire development. That and the texting cagers swaying across the parkway/turnpike every morning. Plus I like my coffee, heat, and Howard Stern in the morning... for me it's after work and weekends... 50F and above... big puss

55 degrees with a windshield or fairing is a lot different than without. I prefer 60-75 degrees since I can still wear a leather jacket and not get too hot. Over 80 degrees and my windshield comes of except for long highway riding. Over 90 degrees and my leathers come off and I generally prefer to ride naked.

No ****. I ride almost every day. Even in the rain. Its the rainy day when people say, "you didn't ride today did you?". Go **** yourself. Yes I did. And I enjoyed it. Whatever... People are lame.

Funny chit. Although I do agree that I can't stand the morons who, knowing that you are a "biker" (I own a motorcycle. I'm a motorcycle owner/rider, thank you) think that you see yourself as a tough guy should be riding regardless of the weather or you're a hypocrite.

Seriously, there are MUCH better things to get pissed about than that.
The one that always amuses me is when I am on the job & walking through an apartment complex wearing my respirator mask & rubber gloves, carrying my spray can & bait gun & people ask me "You sprayin' for bugs?" I'll usually reply "What gave it away?"
You could tell them: No, I'm just filling in for Hitler today
