I get the same thing around here, asking me if I went for a ride if it's any where near 50-60.

Usually, where I live, if gets to 60 in Feb./Mar., it's so damn windy that it makes it almost impossible to ride a bike, plus, this winter not withstanding, there is a lot of sand on roads you have to watch out for.

I'm basically an old man now, and even tho I was never much of a cold weather rider, I really can't take the cold now so I wait until the end of March usually when you can count on it warming up into the 70's.

But I still know plenty of people that like to make it their point in life to make you feel like you are less of a man than they are if you don't care to ride in cold weather.

I get that when it's 20 below zero and 2 feet of snow on the ground.
You would think it would be funnier then. But it isn't.

Not me. I'd rather 55 than 80.

I usually get the opposite. I'll ride to work if it is over 35 and there is no ice on the road. When I get to work people say "you rode in today?' in disbelief.

Its only a 10 mile ride for me each way so no problem as long as there is no ice or snow on the roads.

This has been a mild witer for us here. I have not put the bike to bed all season. The longes I have gone without riding was probably 2 weeks.

See that's one of the real cool things about having a Man Card you don't give a **** what others say or think and a shot of stink eye usually stops any further nonsense from the offending parties .

I get asked this all the time from coworkers, out of 50 of us 3 ride (2 dynas and 1 jap bike) motorcycles. Never really got pissed off over it but it can be annoying...
