i love when its 55, had a day like that and one that was colder this week but still got 90 miles in even with the OL complaining about it being cold

At my age though, I'd be happy with 2 or 3.

Whats the big deal? Most of my fellow bike riding friends raz each other about not riding all the time. But then I'm on paxil and most the others are on the verge of senility so that might explain why it doesn't bother us.

55 works for me as well ..... there are some soft bikers about now days .....lol
i dont do snow any more though , i dont need to , so i wont .

55 degrees may be OK for some but you got to admit....you would rather have it 80 degrees....at least I do.

 

People should ride whenever they want. Of course 80 feels nice but for safety I prefer 55. At 55 I can wear my armored textile, or my heavy leather. If it's a long trip where it might go under 45, on go the chaps. Having a fairing I am comfortable down to 40 degrees.

I know many think chaps are uncool, so I guess that explains why some think 55 is cool.

 

Used to a little then realized where it was coming from.Not any more we are surrounded by people like that,life is just too short to be wound up over something that is never going away.
