"The plaintiffs are represented by Stephen P. Stubbs with Tax Law Solutions."
Must be a slam dunk case if a "tax lawyer" is who they got. lol

Concord, N. H.: House Bill 171, sponsored by Rep. Sherman Packard (R-Londonderry), would prohibit the New Hampshire Liquor Commission from imposing restrictions on on-premises licenses relating to clothing or appearance of patrons or employees. The bill passed a Jan. 4 floor vote in the House and now moves to the Senate for consideration.

Not long ago a certain CoC held ONE meeting at an unnamed dealership. All arranged, planned far ahead of time, food served, media coverage, etc. Even the ownership group attended the outdoor meeting.
The local PD was not amused. For several months after the meeting payback ensued. Large numbers of the dealership's demo/test rides were pulled over and ticketed for speeding on the access road leading out of the dealers lot. No one can recall anyone ever getting a ticket there in the past 4 years. The 35mph speed limit sign was 1/4 a mile down the access road. The cops simply waited on a side road for the easily marked (saftey vest) test riders. It got bad.
Now there are off duty officers working in the dealership to perform safety reviews for all demo rides. Of course the ticketing ceased by coincidence.
I don't know ALL the details or how much is true, but it reeks of extortion in my book.

this is such BS. I wonder how LE would react if the bars said they refuse to serve cops? Or hispanics? whoever thought this would fly needs to loose his job. What a waste of taxpayer money.

you can't fight city hall. that saying rings truer with every day that passes. one day soon the masses are going to collectively say "we've had enough". i see no other way to correct the situation. our democratic process is a joke and has drifted far away from what our fore fathers envisioned it to be. elected officials are more worried about getting re-elected than doing their job. teachers are going on strike for more money while our children get dumber by the minute because of a poorly run educational system. poor people are left to rot while businesses show record profits. we are turning into a third world country slowly but surely.
the one thing that i see that is more important than any of this gibberish is to make sure the Vagos MC is not allowed to drink in bars. AFTER we fix that we can move on to our other petty problems we have in this country.

Today the Vagos, tomorrow anyone on a Harley, then anyone on a motorcycle then anyone who has tats on and on.
"First they came for the Communists but I was not a Communist so I did not speak out;
Then they came for the Socialists and the Trade Unionists but I was not one of them, so I did not speak out;
Then they came for the Jews but I was not Jewish so I did not speak out.
And when they came for me, there was no one left to speak out for me."

Yeah well those people are F'd in the head. Rights once diminished for even those we may not like, eventually end up being diminished for us as well.

Back to the original topic, this is unjust but as was said the local LEO will find a way to make like difficult for those that don't cooperate. Harassment? You bet. Of course, counter point, you don't go fishing in the Sahara. And that's how LEOs will, and do, justify doing what they do.
What this group has done now, making this public and filing a lawsuit, is the RIGHT way to handle this. LEOs have to follow the law too and the best way to defend your rights against any LEO practice that doesn't is with the MEDIA. Nothing gets media attention like a good ol' lawsuit against a government agency.
Personally, I think the LEO are going about all this the wrong way. Nothing would be said if, every weekend or whenever the Vagos frequent these bars, the LEOs would have marked cruisers sitting in the parking lots of these bars. When the patrons who the officers are concerned with leave, they follow and if there is one item on their vehicle that they can be pulled over for, they get pulled over. Harassment? Sure is. But the difference is it would never make the paper.
Am I advocating this? No, but it is going to happen no matter what I advocate. Once you understand the game, you can tweak how you play it and accept the rest.
