I really try and buy American when I can, I try and use local places with American guys doing the work, but if I have to buy something that comes from a sweatshop, I might as well buy it from the cheapest sweatshop.

I agree, but the only reason HD sells some of the junk they do at the insane prices they charge is because people continue to buy it! I already shelled out a ton of money for a bike...I don't buy any more than I have to from them (except parts) I certainly am not going to pay 40 or 50 bucks for a sweat shirt that's worth 20 to advertise for them. I love my HD...But the accessories...Not so much. As far as knockoffs...I don't buy them, but I can understand people wanting to save money. Just remember...You usually get what you pay for quality wise.

The clothing that the MOCO sells is made in China.
The "knockoff" clothing is made in China.
Those of you who won't buy it cheaper....well, the MOCO LOVES guys like you.
Anyone who has ever lived in Asia has knockoff ****.

I don't buy any clothes that say Harley. . I own 2 shirts, one was free with my bike and the other was a gift. I mainly don't buy there stuff cuz every dick that doesn't ride wears harley clothes. and then the second reason is cuz its overpriced imports anyway.

1. I ALWAYS try to buy American made products first - I PAY MORE to get American made parts. Keep the money in America creating jobs - it keeps going round and round HERE!
2. I will buy stuff made in other countries as long as the money goes both ways and the country does not hate America.
3. I sympathise with the Chinese people, but I almost NEVER buy chinese made goods due to the unfair/unethical business practices, the fact that people are executed without the right of appeal and they hate America...
Knock off or not, not getting my hard earned American dollars, ever!

Bottom Line would appear to be for many that, so long as they don't realize how it might negatively impact their personal finances or security long term, they're good with saving a buck in the short-term regardless of how many laws, licenses or contract terms are being ignored and/or broken, e.g., patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade agreements, import restrictions, limited rights agreements, proprietary information agreements, etc.
