Wife's not interested

2up
My wife loves riding 2 up - long trips and short.
But if that's not the case and you need perspective try this little experiment:
Put your dog in the trunk and drive around for an hour, and then put your wife in the trunk and drive around for an hour.
Open the trunk and see which one is happy to see you.
Just sayin'...

I quit reading when you said she's a RN, if she's in the ER, there's the problem. She's so depressed from all that ER "welfare trash" and illegals getting everything for free, she needs a ride to forget about that and get out of the ER for good, that's the second worst place to be.
My wifes been a nurse for 35 years(critical care) and I get away without her when she's working, she never needed to be schooled on wearing gear either ! We been in triple digits and scraped a lotta pegs(not on a Harley) without issues. Now we look foward to relaxing !!

I have the opposite problem. My husband is not interested in the street riding so I ride alone for the most part and no over nighters which limits my range. I have my fave 150 km (95 mile) run I do every Sunday during riding season. I ride when ever possible including some charity and fun runs. I may never go to Sturgis or any other big rally but for me it is not as much about the destination as it is the ride. Kind of odd I guess. Really itching for spring. Enjoy your rides whether 2 up or solo. Ladies of Harley and Garage Parties at the dealer are great places to start!

Count yourself lucky. Mine keeps asking why I wont take her riding. She's a cool chick but honestly my bike is my "getaway" ride. Riding is my time. To be alone or hang with my boys. I dont need her telling me to slow down or she's cold or her *** is getting numb or I need quieter pipes so she can talk to me. I know that sounds kind of mean but it is what it is. We do enough other stuff together. I need my space and me time to keep sane.
