Numbed it, removed the sliver and handed me some drops to use. No big deal, right? Went to the desk to sign out and they said .... "That will be 480 dollars please." HOLY S**T!!!! It wasn't even after business hours.

So be fore warned. It gets very expensive getting hurt nowadays.

Glad you are ok. Luckily I am fast enough to move out of the way of speeding objects. cat like reflexes.

For future reference for all. I have a home object in eyeball removal kit that I will send over night anywhere in US. Cost is a small 200.00 USD.

It contains a bottle of Jack, a melon baller, gauze, tweezers, magnifying glass and tape.

It is a simple process.

  1. Drink whiskey as needed
  2. Scoop out eyeball with melon baller
  3. using magnifying glass if necessary take tweezers
  4. remove the offending item
  5. push eyeball back in socket
  6. cover with gauze
So now you all have a way to fix your eyeballs at home. I also am accepting franchise applications.

Cheers,

John

**** note this is intended as a novelty item (wink wink) and while we are seeking FDA approval we have not gotten a reply to our emails to them. Lazy bastards.

Because our eyes are very important to us, we should protect them at any time, we know that we will be participating in any activities that may result from perforation, or exposed to our eye injury. Blunt injury to the eye may occur in the sports ball or racket.

A big reason your eye care cost so much is because of the 12 MILLION ILLEGAL "immigrants" our government so graciously lets the taxpayer play host to.
Oh my bad, that's not politically correct.

The only B.S. that I can see here is in the truth of the statement!
That, and perhaps under estimating the B.O. B.S.
Double the size of the IRS, how's that for starters?

I went to check my chute once and had something fall into my eye. Instant tears and super blurry vision. Couldn't see a damned thing. Just steered away from the rest and watched the horizon. Can't imagine having to do it doing 80 on the freeway. I don't leave the house without something covering my eyes anymore.

If you think that's bad you don't even want to know about dental work.

At a regular eye doctor visit, he found some 'trash' in my eyes. He dug the stuff out and said I needed to wear goggles when riding.

I found some safety goggles for 15 bucks a pair and wear them when riding my bike.

I lost the sight in one eye from molten metal splatter about 15 years ago. My left eye looks perfectly normal but my vision went from 20/15 to 20 /200 and it's never coming back. It hurt so bad I just wanted to eat a bullet for about a week. Needless to say, I don't even take **** without eye protection now!

Whoever mentioned super glue,I've been using it to patch up cuts for years, works great.
