Well this has been a good morning , a while back I picked up a set of Wilwood front brake calipers off Ebay for a $100 . The guy had bought them and wrecked his sled in a 2 month window and wasn't letting the insurance company have the extra's , one had a little chrome coming off . On a lark contacted Wilwood and they said no problem they would replace it , I'm like SCORE !! a $600 set of calipers for a C note . Then then the games began .


4 months , 14 emails , 9 phone calls to get one to my door step and somebody screwed the pooch again by sending the wrong part . It would work but mine are plain chrome this has Wilwood laser etched on it so now I have a miss matched pair I'd have trouble hocking on Ebay if I wanted to get rid of them . 2 more phone calls and me telling the guy I'll be on the doorstep in 2 days personally with my war face on and the VP of Wilwood calls this morning , why did it take all that to get to the top finally ? . Problem solved my stuff is in the mail as we speak and he tells me to take the extra $385 retail etched brand new unit and make a paper weight out of it , not worth their time to send a return shipper out for it .

I'll take a late Christmas , beats the hell out of the socks I got .
