Just put heat in our machine shop two winters ago.Last winter had a Boss Hoss parked in it while it got a going over. This winter building an all aluminum 427" small block with NASCA SB2 topend for the V8 bike.Sure feels good to have that space to tinker.Gives the wife a break also.

I fired up the 55 last night and could not get it to make the noise so I am going to change the oil after work tonight and see if it just does not like the oil I put in it,I put in 10w30 but going to step it up some with 15w40 Rotella T and see if its a little more quiet. If the weather is decent saturday I will drive the 55 to look at the motor I am thinking about buying for it and see what happens, when I took it to Florida last month I would hear no noises if kept under 60 so maybe the oil is breaking down when on extended runs.

I have been working on the bronco yanking out the trans and transfer case and replacing it with a 2wd trans, picked up a "rebuilt" trans off craigslist that was assembled with the wrong bearings so parts of them were in the pan which meant that the trans was pulled out again and sent out to be re rebuilt. Its done and will be going in tuesday after work and saturday tried to find a pair of good used tires for the front but non could be found so I bought new which I need to pick up tomorrow night after work,I broke some fuel line parts in the process and had to locate them so I hope tuesday night it will be off the jack stands. Checked out the motor in the 55 and determined its not in the bottom end so I will replace the cam and possibly the heads and have the parts located but will work on it late next summer.
