Who Gots Da Ticket

 

What a great sanity ride today. Need rides like this to regain my sanity... those of you in San Diego will know the route... started in Chula Vista. Went out the 8 east to Calexico, went down the S2 to the 79, up through Julian, down through Ramona, to Santee, back down the 67 to the 1225, to 805 and home again. Only 235 miles, but four hours of nice riding… well until PoPo pulled me over.

He pulled me over for all things… going too slow… lol. I was like, "Really?” I told him I was on a touring bike, not a sports bike. I told him I was going at a safe speed for the corners I was taking. He told me I should pull to the side if I was going that slow and when cars needed to get by. I asked him how many cars were behind me. He paused, cause there were only him and I on the road. I told him he could admit it, he stopped me cause he wanted to check out my scooter… he didn't know what to say. Then a sports bike came screaming down the road. He signaled him to pull over next to me. Then he told me I could leave… Fing joke…

 

Sports bike... i was going too slow according to the copper... lol

 

Wow, love that blue sky. Did my last year ride today under greyish sky at 54F, which is exceptional warm weather for us at this time of the year. Dropping down tomorrow, so winterize time for me. Wouldn't mind riding down south like you. Enjoy.

 

Enjoyed takin' the ride with ya, thats up until the cop showed. I know the area, you would think you were far enough out to just kick back and enjoy your ride. It just reminds me of why I left California...
