I've lived in South Florida and was stationed in San Diego. They did nothing for me. I'll take riding in four real seasons than to be imprisoned in Florida or Cali again.

That's some beautiful scenery. The few times I flew into San Jose on business I always saved a day for driving US 1.

Thanks for posting.

We had a normal av. temp today in the low forties. Not a cloud in the sky. Moderate winds. I did a quick 142 miles. Came across about 9 -10 other riders that hadn't put their bikes away yet.

Saw farmers finishing up their year with irrigation projects, drainage projects, spreading lime and manure. In the little towns folks were raking and burning leaves. One house getting a new roof and one adding a four car garage that looked like it would have an upper room.

Very little traffic to deal with and no bugs. Not a one.

The Buell Ulysses turn for the next few weeks. It has heated grips but was not needed today.

Stopped in at the dealer's for hot chocolate. I always try to plan that stop on my various loops. They had just sold a TriGlide.

Buddy and I rode today, we didn't see anyone else, guess the little amount of ice that was on very few parts of the roads in Jersey kept folks at home.

I tried Florida a few years ago. I love big game fishing, and for as long as I can remember, I thought I'd move to the Keys when I retired. I got offered a great job in Miami, lot of money, lot of responsibility. I tried it for about 5 months, and realized that I loved visiting south Fla, but I really didn't want to live there.
