course you'd want one of these in the hot tub with you... for the sake of restoring body heat.....

I agree. I rode about 800mi straight through one night to Tennessee in the mid-low 30s two years ago for Christmas, and while that trip makes me sound like a school girl on her trike compared to Harleyash's subzero trips, I made great use of the hot-tub and cold-beverages when I arrived.

Okay Frank; Where'd you learn to ride like us, living down there in the land of the straight and boring?

Visit the mountains often, and ride hard when I do!

Almost April ... heated gear still on and still just about froze on my 30 mile commute this morning. Damn long winter this year.

I used to say that too. Now it's I'm riding. I'll wash the salt off at the car wash.

It was only one degree over freezing this morning. A fresh layer of snow fell overnight. But it has been warm for a few days so the roads were wet, the snow melted on contact.

So I said fckit, I'm riding. As I was riding out of my neighborhood to work the neighbors were out scraping their windshields and brushing snow off their cars.

Needless to say, no wallet bikers on the road this morning.
