I read this one....

If your a poser/rub/wallet biker and this thread offends you why did you post here.

I believe that the people who use these terms to define other motorcyclists do so in a lame attempt to elevate their own self image as a biker. Just like bragging that you got a bike by doing an in-frame on a D-6 and didn't pay for it with cash or you ride 100K a year ( I guess I did read some of your posts).

The reality is this. You don't know what other peoples stories are. You don't know what their physical limitations are, what sicknesses they're dealing with, what debilitating injuries they've had or even what other activities they devote their time to. I expect to see fewer people riding when the weather gets real cold or real hot. I don't think I'm better than them.

Only did 106 miles today when a cold front came through and dropped the temps into freezing.

Put me at 24,200 for the year.

Can't help but wonder what that non/wallet/rub/poser Soft02 has done with his wonderful riding weather?

Care to post Softy?

I am. I have a HOST of physical problems and live with pain.
I ride a lot.
I ride all year.
I love riding.
But what I do NOT DO is claim I love riding and only ride when flowers bloom. I devote MUCH of my time to bike maintenance, because I HAVE to, if I want to do what I do, at the speed I do it, in the weather I do it in, and with the company I tool with.
Anyone doesn't like that? Well, your opinion of me is none of my business or concern. BTW, this was a thread about RIDING, right?

I like "wallet bikers".... they keep businesses open and people employed.

"rich" people own businesses and hire people.

Guess it just depends on a persons mindset.

when you see a wealthy person you either are:

happy for them
or
jealous

I choose to be happy for them.
