Last day of November and nature blessed us with a 50 degree day.

Got out there for an afternoon ride of 118 miles. That closes the month of November with a little over 3,500 miles added.

Came across four riders. With the time of day they may have been returning home from work.

Tomorrow my hit 60 so some fair weather riders may be out.

26', 10 miles - no windshield, no heated gear.
It was an experiment. I lost last years data. I think a windshield and heated gear would help a lot.
The shovel was purring, I was frostbit.
Might be my last ride of 2012 ( lots of work away from home coming to me ), I am thankful for a good year of riding and I hope you all had a good 2012 riding too. Here's to 2013 and wishes of good riding to you all.

Dropped a bit down here in Savannah, Ga, but not much. Weather has been in the 50s, 60s and 70s with sunshine. Tomorrow is a Toy Run and the bikers will be commin out of the woodwork.

so is the weather. Gonna see some mid-60's here in mid Ga. - I won't even get to try out the new bar heaters, no one seems to want to ride, and I guarantee I'll be 200 miles or so with the bolts wore off my board bottoms when I get back. Sunny too!

Dec. 1st and during a 148 mile ride I came across eight other bikers on the road. A couple bikes were two up. But it was in the upper 50's.

Mid 30's here yesterday and did somewhere north of a hundred miles. Started at 10am when the thermometer was reading 26°F, and hit a 100mph going through a tunnel...yeah that combination is COLD.

Yer gonna freeze *****.
I love beatin' the cold and use clothing (and now bar heaters) to do it, but one thing I found is that once somethin' gets into the pain range, it takes a lotta warmup to get normal again, so that's the only time I keep speeds down; when it's crispy out.
With the handwarmers, I hope to be freed up this winter and ride normally. (passing everyone)
