There was a thread going like this last year as well. We would talk about the rides we did in extreme weather, it was a jab thread as well about where are the fair weather posers. And just like this year the same people (person) got his tampon in a knot and whined that he put his bike up on the blocks and so should everyone else on the planet. haha.

This is a bike forum. Some people, like me, like to hear about other's adventures that they've had on their bikes. That's what it's all about.

So carry on. The wallet bikers, posers, ***** whipped bikers, and pansys have put their bikes away. Too cold for them. Post where you've been riding or you're one of them.

No we haven't.

I mean, no they haven't...

Actually, I rode over 100 miles yesterday, half of it in rain. Used over a half-tank of fuel. But I don't keep a tally because I don't feel the need to impress anybody, but if someone else does I have no problem with it.

Ride on.

Rode SE Ohio last Saturday. Chilly in AM...great ride.

Didn't see any real or fake bikers out? Just saw people riding some bikes. Go figure?

I'd probably normally be one of them bike put away types, but still no snow and ice, so I keep riding.

Tomm going to hit 60, so I'm taking the day off and riding to Eau Claire to look at new boats, I'll ride while I can.
We normally have sub freezing temps and snow by now.. go figure..

But come ice and snow, it gets put away, whether I lose my man card or not.

+ 1.
To many busy body bikers in here stroking there over inflated egos. Same old ,same old.

You ask him why he'd been off two wheels for that long? I can think of many like myself who just woulnd't settle for less than a Harley or had too many other life traps they couldn't get out of.
Just because a guy has a bike doesn't make him a biker, and just because he doesnt have a bike doesn't make him NOT one.

I was riding today and while on Roosevelt Blvd I was at a light. An old timer on a RK pulls up to me and says "Not much of us left on the road this time of year". It really wasn't cold out. It was about 47-48* and I wasn't wearing my heated gloves. But he was right. Not to many on the roads in Philly now.
