Ha. I've worked hard to have a comfortable bike and live in comfort. I don't need to prove anything to anyone.

How many boaters out there? Convertible owners? Etc.

LOL! I totally agree. I dont need to prove anything to anyone. Yup, Im a fair weather rider..... I work with a guy who rides up until Jan. here in NY. He busts my ***** about not riding in the winter. I told him for years that he better be careful for black ice....

Every morning I struggle with the decision whether to ride the bike or the car. The bike won this morning. It was 44 degrees here in MD. Except for my hands and face, the ride wasn't too bad. Maybe I'll pick up some thicker gloves and a face mask. My bandana fogs up my sunglasses.

That being said, the bike will stay in the garage once it gets below 40. That is my limit.

I think this type of post only serves to make a few feel good about themselfs...and has no value. I havent put my bike away. its out about every other day.. I own no special clothes. if its warm enough for a zip up sweater jacket and long underwear then Ill ride. if i dont feel like it..i dont. if you dont ride,,, its not my business. no one should care. making it a issue here is just saying everyone look at me...im tough and real..kind of silly.

The trouble with guys getting off of their bikes for the winter is that now they're in cars.

More cars. Less bikes. Wonderful.

Meh, I usually stop the daily riding when it hits 30* on the regular, which is usually late November to March. So I park the bike for 3 months. It sucks but with the addition of salt an sand, as well as cagers forgetting bikes exist in the winter, it only makes sense to me. I'm seriously looking into moving to the southwest soon. So I'll trade 3 months of too cold for 3 months of too hot. IMO it's easier to ride in too hot...
