Starting to get cool up here now, I was out yesterday for a ride, it was very grey then turned to heavy rain! Got soaked however it will be a long winter up here so riding in Nov. Is a luxury. Saw just two other bikers in full gear. Can't wait until my Motoport heated & rain gear delivered.

Early this week I took of and it was clear and 45*. Hit some heavy fog for about 10 miles. Soaked to the bone and about froze in my jeans and sweatshirt.

Ain't nothing fun about riding when it's freezing out. Try a morning commute when it's pitch black and mid 30s for about 40 minutes. All you freezer jockeys riding 10 minutes to work when it's 30 ain't impressing anyone. You can do that in a sweat shirt and jeans.

Road to work today, 'bout 38 in the AM and still cold as **** for the commute home. Windy as hell, cloudy and about 45.

..but still I ride...

This thread cracks me up. I keep envisioning Tarzan thumping his chest. Who cares how cold it was when you last rode and for how long. We've all done it but most don't feel the need to alert the media. Get a life...

I ride when the weather is "crisp" but not cold and/or raining if I can help it. btw - went for a nice long ride this afternoon, 85 degrees, unseasonably warm.

I can go down to about 30*. I have a 50 minute ride to the career center. Below that, my heated seats in my car are just way too tempting.

Thank God for the clock change this weekend, That means I can leave in the daylight but now come home in the dark.
