Just got about a foot of snow dumped on us and my neighbors 80 year old oak dropped a trunk through my garage, so no riding for me, I've been chain sawing and lighting candles for two days.

Got in a super ride with the wife yesterday. Me on the Fattie her on a Super Glide Custom. Got into Drumheller and met a few other riders at a pub. They all agreed that it may be the last day to get out. Time to whip out the snowshoes and do some wallet camping.

I am lucky if I see 2 other bikes in a weekend around here now, and I am in the south! You can sure tell who is a fair weather rider and who really loves to ride just to ride!

129 miles today seeing the final fall colors in the trees. Smelling the leaves burning in the small towns were burning is still allowed. Pulling out and passing all of the combines on the road going to another field, grain haulers going to the ethanol plant and cement trucks going and returning to the wind farms to pour bases. Then with the sun dropping fast I had to stop and wait at several school bus stops.
Low 50's and sunshine with light wind. I did see 4 other bikes. Well three and a Can Am.
