I'll have to admit...Im an "Empty" wallet biker. But mine aint parked now or ever. One of the reasons I like the south so much. No winter blues...Might be chilly but not cold. Even when I lived in Ohio I never winterized the bike. As long as there wasnt any ice on the roads, I would bundle up and go for a ride. Never had a problem with salt.

Yeah because the only real bikers and the only real people are people who don't have/spend money and just trade for everything? The only real bikers are folks without steady income? You know like the 15th century. I ain't rich but I also am not a mechanic. I save money and buy things with it. Welcome to the 21st century. I am sorry but when I am out on the roads below 40 degrees just because I got the itch and I am riding in the rain because, "well it will be nice later," I think about jerk offs like you who think the only way to be "real biker" is to be a mechanic and or a sheet metal guy who can't or won't hold a job and it just burns my a$$.

To the OP and more on topic... yeah I notice a big fall off in bikes on my 80 mile commute as well. Especially in the morning - as soon as it dropped into the forties. And the funny part is now that it's back near 60 in the morning they are still gone - seems a lot of folks mothballed their bikes already.

Riding in rain sucks, but you've never ride much if you didn't ride in the rain sometimes. Especially around here.

Couldn't agree with you more.

The past 5 days have been super nice her after like 10 days of cool, wet weather so tons of bikes out, but now it's going tobe cool and wet the next 4-5 days so i'm sure it will cut down. I'll never understand why post like this come up, I mean a rider is a rider, no matter how much they make, spend or miles rode. Like has been said many times on here before-What is a real biker? I mean this in not the 60's and 70's man. The easy riders days are over.
