I saw a road kill monkey in Florida one morning near the ocala national forest. Turns out there are wild monkeys living there that escaped from a Tarzan movie back in the 1930's or so i was told.

A big gar one day. Figured it fell out of a boat or the back of a truck. Here was a huge six foot gar laying in the road. Everyone was dodging it ---so it wasn't road flat when I came up on it. On the trip home it was road scattered everywhere.

I pickup road kill for thye city I work for. We will do something funny stuff with it. Leave it on the snowmobile trail for the tourist to enjoy, take it to the next town & throw it out on one of their roads, stuff like that. about a year ago we hired a new guy thet came from a different town. He really did not care for the person that he worked with. So about a week on the job & a skunk gets killed, we picked it up & put it in a sealed bucket. Wrote the name of the town that he came from, & left it at their town garage like it was a delivery. I am still laughing about it.

Most disgusting road kill I've seen...a cow.
Rib cage torn apart....that massive 4 part stomach torn apart....freaking green cud goop for what seemed to be a quarter mile. Oh the stench!
Heading into the northern half of Maine.... I used to go to Millinocket. On those looooong straight flat roads through the scrub growth country. When those big logging trucks doing about 90....with those big steel welded bar re enforced front grills hit a moose? Makes for an interesting explosion of red, and various small moose parts strewn down the road for several hundred feet.
