Most Interesting Road Kill You've Seen

I rode from Adelaide to Darwin a few years back and if I didn't pass 5,000 dead Roos on the road I didn't pass any. Also quite a few emus and wedge tailed eagles.

Worst was a person along side garden state parkway who was laying in the grass off the road who apparently was ejected from his car. State police had a sheet on him but not over his head. Looked like he was sleeping but my gut tells me he was dead.

A buffalo in the Lamar valley in Yellowstone. Didn't see what hit it, but willing to bet it was scrap after that.

While plowing snow on the highway, I had a grouse fly into the passenger-side windshield. The windshield was already cracked by a rock, but when the grouse hit it, it came half way through the window. Made a hell of a mess in the cab. Good thing it was on the passenger side, otherwise I might not have stayed on the road.

I would have to say the most interesting roadkill I've seen is the spinning deer in my rearview mirror after I hit it going 55 MPH. True story! Somehow I hit the deer and it spun around and hit the side of the bike and I was able to keep the bike up and keep riding. There might have been a brown streak behind me for a few miles though.
