With the price of gas the way it is, I ride every chance I can get and I'm grinning big time cuz my SUV kills my wallet.

Huh? That don't make no sense. Then again I don't how you ride when not on a bike.

I do know it cost me 80 bucks a week to fill my vehicle and only 13 to fill my bike....and that's just the obviuos.

Rain or have to pick up something large are my reasons I cant ride, thinking about converting my FXD to a trike with a flatbed so I can haul larger items when and if I find a touring and then rain would be my only excuse.

What are reasons you don't ride, in riding season?
Here are mine:

1. Have to service auto or truck
2. Need to pick up something with truck.
3. Gonna rain all day
4. Bike not working
5. Famiily trip
It would be intellectually dishonest to answser this question...because I have nothin' but time to ride.

It would cost me approximately $11 to drive to work, gas and lunch average price included in that. If I rode to work, I would be spending $4 on gas and $4 on food to break lower than the cost of driving, so I get $8 total. However, I usually wind up spending more than $4 on something to eat, so at that point, driving or riding to work don't have very much of a difference in cost.

At least that's what I was thinking when I wrote that..

1. Too hot
2. Too cold
3. Raining
4. Nowhere to go (at OVER $4/gallon for non-ethanol premium,I gotta have a destination)
5. Take my work truck home with me,so can't ride to work.
