WoW.... I just bought my first Harley like 2 months ago. Why? Because once I rode one there was no other feeling like it. I'm not a banker, ins salesman, cop, or anything else but a person who finally got talked into riding a Harley. I want "Harley" boots because they are made for riding and I assume can hold up to the stresses of riding NOT because they have a Harley logo (find me another pair that is cheap and can hold up). I wear a t-shirt most of the time and jeans and a Harley helmet because that is what was GIVEN to me by the dealer when I bought the bike (didn't see no reason to buy a helmet when I could get one for free). So does that make me a "poser"? Does that make me a "biker"? Does that make me a "rider" **** NO!!! It makes me ME!!! Why do some of the people on here seem so damn shallow that they have to divide people into groups like little school kids because of the things they wear or the bike they ride... Holy **** I thought high school was over years ago!!! Grow the hell up!
You bought a bike that you like.
You bought boots that you think will do the job.
You're wearing harley helmet because it was free....and most importantly you think all that just makes you YOU.
So many others buy a bike just as status symbol. They buy the matching pirate outfits to show other people that they are "bikers". Thats what makes them FAKES.
Don't know about you, but I respect real people, whoever they are and just can't find an ounce of respect for pretenders.

I did that for years (stayed in the closet)!! Got tired of that **** and finally realised that if people or anyone doesn't like me for me and judges me based on my sexuality they can kiss my ***! I don't need them! They can take that **** to someone who gives damn!

Wow, first Monseiur and now alkay coming up big today. Keep 'r rolling boys, the coffee's on the stove...
and, uh, Bear-san, you might not want to use that particular kiss-my-*** comment when yer talkin' about your own sexuality. Ya know? :- )
(That's funny, I don't care who ya are...)

You just backed up some of my reasons for disliking the poser crowd.

So let me get this straight.... you dislike the poser crowd because they bought a bike they like and got boots that will do the job and for saving money by using a FREE helmet... or am I reading this wrong?
