You don't know much about Germany, do you?
They have as many freedoms over there then we have here. OK,no firearms. But you can stay in Bars until you want to go home, without Johnny Law telling you when the place has to close up. Another thing... AUTOBAHN! They just have different freedoms, but it's not like you have big brother breathing down your neck 24/7. After almost 5 years here I think it's pretty safe to say that the "land of the free" is a thing of the past anyway. You have as many laws and regulations here then you have over there.

Helmet law is still less offensive to me than the law that allows police to stop all (and only) motorcycles to run Vin numbers and check to see if you got insurance.
How different is that from **** Germany or Communist Russia?

If you travel to Europe you better be aware of a few things. I spent a few years over there and lucky that I didn't get into more trouble than I did but here is some interesting reading.. http://www.timberwoof.com/motorcycle/faq/europe.html

Im just a guy who likes motorcyclesb be it a Harley, BMW, Triumph, MotoGuzzi, or an old Norton. I love anything mechanical wether if rolls, floats or flies. My first street bike was a Yamaha RD400 oil injected 2 stroke. I didn't get back on till 2008 and then could only afford an 883 Sportster. I made it my bike wit a windshield, grips, bags, and SE2 pipes.I ride the hell out if it and have put 20,000 mostly trouble free mile on it and dont consider myself a biker just a dude that loves motorcycle and dont give 2 ***** what anyone else thinks. I learned a long time ago to never judge a book by its cover! Iam What Iam and it suits me just fine! I'll keep riding my bike and enjoy it as long as Im able and can afford to buy gas.
