Never saw any violent deaths in the service, but my dad and I went to help dig people out after a brick building collapsed on a row of cars during the '90 quake in San Fran, and there was smashed and mutilated bodies everywhere. You wouldnt believe what a pile of bricks can do to flesh and bone after falling 5 stories. Didnt really mess with my head too much but I'll never forget that smell.

I DO miss being an aircraft mechanic...

That was pretty funny, but how does an aircraft mechanic do a test "drive"?

You'd rethink that one with few of the big inch choppers I've dealt with , Yee fugging Haw !!!
