I remember my dirt bike days, Had a lot of fun but got the crap beat out of me.. Them bikes give ya a work out.

Naw. You can be a poser there too. The track is like a fashion show. If you arent wearing the newest gear available or dont have anodized pieces all over your bike youre a poser. I set my CRF450R to run in the woods and if I dont take off my barkbusters and radiator guards and skid plate when I go to the track I always get snobby looks. I could give a **** what some 16 year old kid thinks about me but being 40 with 5 year old gear will definitly earn you smartass looks and attitude.

That be the reason I race VINTAGE. Nobody gives a crap about fashion, trendy bikes or parts. Don't even matter if you're old and slow as long as we're having fun.

Funny about the dirt bikes...I have an 86 XL and a 93 XR...My wife has the fancy new CRF, she gets more compliments...you know, not bad for a grandma.

More I think of it... Riding a Harley has made me a little less of a d!ck.

I meet more people now, and it starts more convos than I would normally have with all forms of people.

You meet the nicest people on Harley... Or, the nicest people ride Harley. Something like that, right!?

I was always busted up does that count ? My dirt bike days consisted of a BSA 441 Victor 1 lunger and that thing whipped my *** evertime I got on it .

I had a 250 yamaha thumper.......4 stroke. ran a 600 honda once, just once lol.That ****** had some *****! lifted the front without even trying......
