Still love Muscle Cars. Currently have a finished 1967 Chevelle SS and working on a 1969 Camaro RS/SS (Basket Case that I have had for 15 years and work at it as time an money allows).

It took me 7 years to build that 56 BelAir. Cars take awhile to build, and it's expensive.

Yup. 91 Mustang, turbo sbf.
Although it's a lot less work just to hop on the bike and go ride than loading up and going to the track. Especially on days like today when it was over 100^ out!

Been into Harleys all my life bought my first one in 1962 at 14 yrs old.Bought my first car at 17 and started hot rodding it right away.Bought my first nice car when first married 1969 since then have always had muscle cars and Harleys.Just sold a 1969 SS Chevelle 454" 4 speed.Still have a 65 AC Cobra 460" 5 speed, built to road and drag race.Have been drag racing for years, very hard to resist the occasional street battle.Funny how age does not take away the desire it just makes you wiser, keeps you focused on where the LEO's are and the best places to get away with the street battles and do it safely.Living in the country is a big plus for a gearhead like me.Recently acquired a hot rod have wanted since reading about the "MadMan from Michigan" EJ Potter.Mine is a 560hp 406" V8 bike, with 10" car tire.Another week or so it will be road worthy.Dog

Yeah, I guess so. I never saw myself as a muscle car guy, more of a hotrodder. That Camaro was kind of an exception.

Grew up in a hot rod background... Pops had a 55 ford customline with a straight axle 390 in it... We had many chevelles, a nova, galaxies..... List goes on and on... I just sold the 55 2 years ago, it had been sitting in rented garages since 87.... needed a master cylinder when it went out in 87... we got a 68 bblk chevelle that summer... So the ford went to the wayside... and sat.. and time took its toll and I don't have tons of time or money... so it had to go. Pops still holds it to me. If we only knew what all this stuff would be back then.. I remember throwing out a brand new oem 65 chevelle grill into the trash... never installed. We had a project car we picked up with tons of parts.... most of which went into the trash via my dad... Said we didnt need all of it. Sad to think of now how much we just "threw away".
