I scored a 2-3 so probably not much of a pirate. The riding boots are a requirement for me and I can't imagine why anyone rides a street bike without a good pair of sturdy leather boots. I wear a doo rag under my helmet simply to keep the sweat off my head and helmet liner. And I occasionally wear a leather vest, but more often just wear a plain black leather jacket to protect my skin. I also wear Kevlar lined jeans which apparently aren't part of the pirate outfit so I'm kind of at a loss of identity at this point. I may start wearing a sword and get a peg leg and parrot though for Halloween.

I have this leather jacker I won several years ago that has white flames on the sleeves and a large "Full Throttle" embroidered on the back. It's too flashy for me. It's a good jacket though. If I'm too cheap to buy a jacket this fall, I'll wear the one I won.

I wear a bandana under my helmet to keep it fresh and wear the bandana when I opt to not use the helmet so I don't get sunburned on my head.

I wear hiking boots when I travel out of the neighborhood but wear my high top sneakers around my area. I wear natural colored gloves I picked up at Sears for $10. The're as good as any of the unlined HD stuff for 1/3 the cost.

I'm not sure how I look to other but I never cared. I wear what I wear.

But since I was a Sailor, who knows?
Ok boys, this is one of those times when we as a group can come together to help a friend in need and do some good. I'm currently setting up a paypal account to give Baca a hand with this jacket issue. Please send your donation to "friends dont let friends wear white flames.com"

Thank you for assistance.

I scored a "0" (that does not sound so good). I do wear boots but they are timberlands and not HD.

Doo rag = 0 points - no doo rag for me
HD jacket = 0 points - Wear plain leather jacket with nothing on it.
Tattoos = 1 point - I have tats, but they have nothing to do with riding or owning a Harley
HD Boots = 0 points - I wear my Justin square steel toed boots riding, and to work. I wear them every day whether riding or not.
Beard = 1 point - I have a beard right now, but it has nothing to do with having a Harley
Chaps = 0 points - no chaps
Vest = 0 points - no vest
Patches & pins = 0 points - don't own any or want any, but I do have a couple signs and stickers in my bike shop and my bar.
Fingerless gloves = 0 points - pointless...if I wear gloves they have fingers and serve a purpose. I usually wear none or Mechanix gloves, or Wells Lamont when it gets colder.
Wife beater = 0 points - I usually wear plain shirts when riding, although usually sleeveless when it's hot to stay cooler.

Total = 2 points for tats & a beard
