Hey thanks for that info. Now I know what they are.

I went to all the T-shirt stands, Hot Teathers and all up in Sturgis and never saw a Wife Beater Shirt.

Then I got to think about real pirates, you know like....Johnny Depp and The Pirates Of The Carribean, and those pirates have these light, frilly, puffy long slieve shirts, and having never seen a pirate biker in one of those thought that THAT would be a Wife Beater Shirt because it sure would flap in the wind and hit the crap out of the ol lady and thus it could be known as a Wife Beater Shirt.

 

Update on my pirate status:

No doo rags - ever again! It's out of style for even my old bones. Bought a plain, black baseball cap at the mall because I was tired of embroidery. I've now started wearing a driver cap. I now look like a poor man's Brian Johnson of AC/DC fame. Regardless, I like the look.

I still wear my vest occasionally, but it's a nice vest with only two pins (HOG and AMA Life Member) with no patches.

Prefer riding shirts (snap collars) over T's. However, I still ride with T's and sleeveless (no wife beater) depending on the weather.

Still wear my fingerless gloves when needed. I would never not wear them no matter what any ignoramus says about them.

 

Need some test items for face jewelry, hook hands, peg legs and custom bikes that look like ships!

 

I believe a peg leg kickstand would sell...
