When I was riding my 2004 Kawasaki Vulcan 750 a lot people gave me Chit for riding a ricer. Now that I bought an 03 FLHTCUI I thought I would be welcomed into the loving arms of the Harley brotherhood. And there are a lot of guys on here I would like to drink a few beers and shoot some pool with. But the more threads I read, my image of the tough burly biker, is starting to be replaced by bitchy, mean 12 year old girls. So instead of feeling self-concious when I wear my FF helmet and assless chaps, I'm gonna enjoy irritating the HD Fashion police. To make sure I am irritating as many people as possible I also taped a liitle stuffed cat on my antenna. I don't really like fingerless gloves, facemasks, skull chrome etc.. but if I hear enough bitchin about them I might buy them too!

You can all ride in your ol lady's underwear and I wouldnt give a ****. I wear what I want (except flipflops; tennis shoes; shorts; or pirate's doo-rags).

What a bunch of haters. Maybe it is a ND thing, but I ride in full gear and a full face helmet. The guys I ride with vary from do rags and vests to t shirts and jeans with beanie helmets. No one cares about fashion. Wear what makes you happy/comfortable. We just enjoy riding. The season here is to flipping short to spend it worried about wardrobe issues.

 

Like many here...I could care less if you like or don't like what I am wearing. I actually have one of those things (somewhere) and if I happen to wear it and you and your ankle-biters laugh...it certainly isn't going to change my day.
