Didn't see that the op posted his pic with the proper and acceptable gear on. Guess us posers are just supposed to know what to wear huh.

Now now, just because you're too much of a ***** to ride in the cold doesn't mean you gotta knock others for it...

I plan on getting one as soon as I find one that looks like this:

My kids saw one of these on auy the other day and want to buy me one. I'm glad I saw this post first. I would hate to think that you and your kids might laugh at me.

Could you please post a pic of what you wear when riding so that we can all dress just like you. That way we can all be spared the life altering ridicule of your children.

I didn't ask him to ridicule. That'll come later.
I really wanted to hear his response. I've worn crap like that to be funny or to poke fun at some people I know. That is my right same as his for wearing what he wants.
If he is wearing it to be funny or obnoxious, COOL !!!!
Here is what I don't get. People spend hundreds of $$$ on wrong gear.
I see them all the time in their half-helmets and soaking chaps hiding under bridges. The mask isn't worth a **** in a rain if you ride further than a local bar.
My textile jacket is waterproof, warm and has shitload of vents for warmer weather. $150 Windproof liner /hoodie $20
Same waterproof, windproof, super warm pants $100
Waterproof, warm gloves $100
Full face ARAI $$$$$.
With that gear I can ride down into 30s or in a poring rain for days on end COMFORTABLY. I'm sure the under-the-bridge crew laughs at me when I cruise by.

What's the problem with them, I wear sunglasses all the time when I ride.

I know what you mean, my kids saw a guy dressed like this the other day.

My kids just couldn't stop laughing about the old guy in the sideways Ghetto Cap.

How is this mask different from a full face helmet or a helmet with a visor?
