Ever park your Bike in a Loft apartment?
Has anyone ever lived in a "Loft" apartment and parked your bike in it? You know those open concept apartments that are usually reclaimed old multi-story warehouses.
I have a vague memory of a movie scene where the guy rode his bike into the freight elevator, went up a few levels, then parked his ride in the living area of his loft.
There's some local property that might lend itself to this concept. Just wondering if it's a realistic consideration?

I looked into that out here a few yrs ago and everywhere I did had very specific rules about anything with an engine coming into the building like no way but some gay freak could play artist and a have damn paint store with all the assorted flammable stuff with no problem .

Many years ago I rented a downstairs apartment off a garage and the owners let me roll my bike into my living quarters. After awhile it got to be a pain to get it in and out so I just parked it in a corner of their garage - with chain and padlock attached.

If I could get it there I would park it there... I used to park mine on my back porch during the winter months and the one house I had I put my shovelhead back together in the dining room. Rolled it out on the deck, fired it up and rode it down the steps. Nowadays with the insurance regs it probably wouldn't fly to park in a loft apartment.
Never had a problem parking in a hotel room... LOL
