All I really want to know is "How in the hell do you do the wave while riding?"

Seems to me to be a bit dangerous especially if the OL is out of sequence with you.

I'm new to the forum but not to the hobby and I feel like I'm on the outside looking in. I want to make myself clear that I'm not full of spite and that this isn't a rip or rant, but I would like to know what is the definition of "Biker"???

I agree the wave can be annoying, like you seem obligated to wave back or your an a#%hole. Just out to relax and ride not wave to everyone on a bike. It is freindly, but should go away.

Wave at everyone, and most everyone waves back. It's just what's done up here in God's country.

Yup, same here. I either wave nod or just use open palm on handlebar. Even for cars and trucks. Most do acknowledge. It takes no effort to nod or open your grip on the bars and I don't care if they respond or not.

Maybe it's the wavers who are trying to look cool.

I even had a MC cop give me the wave but I was stopped at a light and my waving hand had a clutch in it, so I just tried not to make eye contact with him (as I do with all cops).
