A newbie is someone who is new to something. A poser is someone pretending to be something they are not. There are posers who have owned motorcycles for years and they may even do a lot of riding. Yet their personality changes in certain situations.

Buy/wear/go where you like and ride how ever little or often you can. No one to worry about but yourself. Who are you worried about?

buying your safety gear etc straight away your out of the poser bracket!
who cares if someone calls you a poser?
a guy at work said i was a "poser", i said,"yeah thats right"
i wasnt upest by it! if i was i would of dropped him!
he even brought in a little pink and purple "my little pony" which he gave me because he said i was a show pony!! it was hilarious, it is still on my bench today after 5 years!
