Boozefighters are in my experience very easy to get along with. Approach one any time you get the chance and ask them about becoming a Boozefighter. They are not a 1% club but do deserve and command respect.

Get some miles on your 2012 HD, maybe hang around the clubs in the area, and then figure out how you want to go forward...
