Gloss Black, the Denim is too fragile, I don't to be able to buff out scrapes & such. I still have denim on my side covers but the fender/tank are now gloss.
My bike had 400 miles on it when I got it, so I had no choice. However when I bought my Sporty in '87 I went with the gloss (no denim available anyway). I like both and think I'd be happy with either. As we all know, black is faster, so the glossy finish should cut through the wind better.
