Got my wife a Sportster last weekend and I've been tuning the carb today and doing test rides. I'll be damned if I'm not falling in love with it. I'm looking through ebay now at Nightsters. I guess the search never ends.

I cured the envy thing when I bought my Sportster. Now there is some lust for a Heritage. Thats not going to happen for about 2 years.

Nope. I have no envy for any bike because as far as I'm concerned, I already have the best bike in the world.

My only envy is that I wish I had more than one. Touring bikes are the way to go if you can afford only one. But there are times that I'd really love a V-Rod as 2nd bike.

Never really liked riding a big bike. No doubt, they are beautiful bikes, but I bought my Nightster for one reason, and that is because it is what I wanted. So no, I do not envy the larger bikes, but I do appreciate them for what they are, a work of art on two wheels.

I love my Wide Glide, maybe a Springer down the road, but not a new one.
