Carefully. And depending on much of the rivet is exposed, perhaps better.

Get a fiberglass repair kit. Use the fiberglass and resin to fasten the nut on and you will never get it back off. Used this stuff to fabricate locking latches to my topper lid on my pickup.

If it looks better should be left to Miz Roo, don't you think? And if the rivet was exposed, it would mess up you underwear, BTW.

Ditto. My dad once glued the bottom tab piece that broke off the inside of a johnny popper cylinder on with jb weld. I know it held for 8 years cuz the guy he did it for drove the tractor till I moved.

i used the jb weld since it was the easiest of the suggestions to procure in my area i think it is going to work just fine ... thanks for the info guys!

Default what yur doing i don't care,as 4 glue

This glue, there is nothing in this world that works like it. 3M #5200 it's not cheap. U can glue anything on this earth together. u just may not be able to remove it after, with out damage.
