Default Banana on the Handlebars

HaHa I read it as "banana on the handlebars", too. Certainly caught my attention. Whoops!

So does a new/hopeful "hangaround" go out and get the bandana themselves, as a way of self nominating to hangaround status? Or does a patchholder toss one to a hangaround as a way of showing that the club accepts them as an official hangaround?

And if someone (an independent) puts a bandana on their bike....and is seen by a local MC that has those same colors but they don't know the guy, will that guy catch flak?

Be glad you weren't in San Fransisco , in the leather bars in the Castro which pocket you have your bandanna hanging out of tells whether your a top or a bottom . That's a fun game to watch with newbies who have no clue about what a gay bar is during some of the big runs in the city .
