Blu-tooth headsets for GPS & Tunes
Would like to add M/C GPS for direction and be able to listen to my IPOD. I have a Nolan 103 Full face helmet which is set up for the N-COM audio system but the user reviews I read say the system sucks. Any suggestions?

I have a Nolan and although it's not like being in your living room, mine sounds OK. I don't turn it on when I go on long rides so my wife can't just call me. Nothing against the wife but I left the house to go on a ride alone for a reason. I'll be home soon enough.

Sony DRC-BT Bluetooth receiver and a good pair of ear buds.

With this set up I can hear the music and prompts from the Zumo 550 fine with a windshield up to 90 MPH. Without the windshield I'm good to 65 MPH. That's with a half helmet. With the 3/4 or full face helmet there doesn't seem to be any noise problem. Bluetooth transmits in mono, not stereo. Or maybe that's just the Zumo 550, I don't know.

Does your iPod transmit Bluetooth? My old Nano doesn't. If your's doesn't you'd want to keep the iPod in your pocket and plug your earbuds direct or work out a power and audio system that works with your GPS and iPod on your handle bars. I'm assuming your bike doesn't have speakers.
