He is out makin the rounds promoting his newest book and stopped by one of my favorite local watering holes today. Me and a friend rode down there.....He was not supposed to show up till 11:00 but by 10:30 there was a good 100 folks waiting around.



If you look closely, you can see a camera that was installed on the power pole a few weeks back. Our tax dollars at work...Big Brother was keepin an eye on us.



By the time we left about 1:00 the parking lot was packed. Patches from all over the East Coast. I did not wanna cough up 30 bucks for a book, but I did get a Calendar and he signed it.



I told him he musta brought some west coast weather with him cuz it was a picture perfect weather, in the low 70's. Took a nice lil ride afterwards, it was a great day.

We weren't at a book signing for this one , my beard still color that wasn't gray and he still could hold more than a pencil .

 

Excellent photo. That man has paid his dues, IN SPADES. I hope that I am in as good shape as he is if I am lucky enough to live that long..

 

The wife and I seen him last summer in Sturgis again.
We have all of his posters(3 different beer posters)
and books, and DVD (History channel one)
signed, as well as the beer, still full cans..
Might be worth something some day..

 

I think he's 72 years old. Doubt I'll ever make it that far and he's lived a lot harder than me. Love or hate the man/lifestyle etc. he is a legend.
