Since were on the topic of mis-communication...... I sent a guy to the lumber yard to get a 2 x4.

The guy asked him how long he needed that 2 x 4. My guy " a long time"

I admit , I didn't make it very far in his rant....it was just to boring.......so someone give me the short version would ya ?? or just say yes if its some newbie know it all trying to impress us

I worked as an Mechanic, ooops, sorry "Automotive Technician" for a lot of years and the "Engineers" are the ones who kept me employed, Nuff said.

We were being schooled in proper engineerical terms by a guy that cant spell. He was promptly eaten alive.

Ditto...Engineer's are the reason we have recalls. Lot's of recalls.

I have one to add. Using the word "DIE" to explain when a engine stops running.

Something has to be "ALIVE" in order for it to "DIE"
An engine will "Quit" when it stops running not "DIE"
("DIE" refers to death, unless you use it under the other definition)
