Aren't you just a book full of stereo-types??? Please stay in NY. I've never had a problem buying beer. The great thing around here is we have drive thru beer barns and even drive thru daiquiri bars too. WOW.....San Antonio???? Really???? You chose SA of all the cities I named.......come'on, you're stuggling there just bit arench'a chief??? My point was we have right to carry laws and our major cities are ALL in the top 10 cities for road rage.

you can carry your gun to make up for where you're ehem lacking, drive two counties away to get beer, sweat your nuts off, drive 100 miles pin straight and flat, and talk about how awesome your state is. just learn spanish or you'll be sitting on the side of the road looking for work.gurantee you've never been anywhere near NY. i have two guns in my house and a hand gun license processing. i can't roam the streets of NY with a concealed handgun but if i have to give that up so ignoramouses like you can't either i suppose it's a tradeoff i'm willing to accept.

i suppose i don't mind the law restricting who can and can't conceal weapons and walk around, because frankly the vast majority of society can't handle that responsibility. first off most people can't shoot worth a damn, so i don't want some dude who can't hit a 6x6 wall from 25 yards ever shooting a gun in public anyway. second a lot of people have depression, psychological disorders like borderline personality disorder, psychopathy etc... it's much more common than you think. one in every 20 people is a sociopath, do i want them armed and concealing weapons? of course not.
we're all for making people prove they can handle a bike before letting them on the road, but we just want to blindly let any a**hole with a shaky hand and anger management issues walk around with a concealed handgun site unseen, no test, no proof they can actually shoot the thing proficiently? it's bad enough we let every moron vote and procreate without proving they can handle it.

Well the 'loud pipes save lives' people have finally done it. My friend owns an inspection station/garage in upstate N.Y. and another mutual friend stopped in tonight for a beer who happens to be a NYS Safety Inspector and showed me the email paper. I obviously didn't ask to publish it but it amounts to major changes to mods on exhausts in NY. I'd suggest doing a search for the details...ONLY good thing is that I read was that it still is apparently up to the facility to decide if it is 'excessive'. FOR NOW! No SPL readings yet.. BUT you better hope you have baffles and none of those crap sounding straight drags on your scoot here! More to come...
OH and by the way-I'm sure the price of stock exhausts will climb dramatically in the NYS markets! Don't sell yours yet!

i had to put the stock back box on my sportscar so it would pass its bi anual nct safety inspection yesterday . its sounds gutless now and takes away some of the fun mind you now i can hear my music clear with out haveing the volume up loud but some of my heavy stuff will be still up loud .
there is no inspection hear yet for bikes but i will be pissed if i have to score quite cans for my old evo and my sportsbike . i like my bikes to breath well .
i just remembered i want to get a performance air filter for my stock 85 evo airfilter housing any recomanditains ? maybe a k & n they are quality items i got one in my sportsbike .

Wow, you truly know nothing about concealed carry do you? In order to get a CHL, at least in Texas, you have to sit through the safety class, shoot proficiently, and then pass a background check that is much more comprehensive than the one you go through for the firearm purchase.
Dont get me wrong I am not sticking up for the gentleman with bad typing skills and questionable grammar. However if he is a CHL holder in Texas his background is squeaky clean and he is at least as proficient with his firearm as the average police officer. I know that some people are afraid of law abiding citizens carrying firearms legally but there really is no reason to be. I carry my 1911 every time I leave the house and have never had any reason to use it, however I would rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

the other dude in this thread may be able to shoot, but doubtful he would pass any psychological examination, he's an incredibly angry dude.
i don't have a problem with people carrying if they can show competency with a firearm and psychologically sound and i never meant to insinuate otherwise.

Takes about 2 maybe 3 minutes with a SERT to load the stock map then another 2-3 minutes to reload your tuned map. Plus you can lean it out to pass emissions testing...ride to the test....pass...ride home...reload your tune.

WOW! The continent and center of the Earth 'Texas' has decided that the whole other rest of the US is a sh*thole! REALLY? Running from vehicle to air conditioned buildings is not my cup of grog. Or flat FLAT roads to ride on..EVER been here in the fall? I hate winter but smile the first time I see snow squalls off the Great Lakes or get to drive in a snowstorm. Yeah i know that sounds whacked but a state that is around 95 degrees/flat/few laws/ and every rider I come across packs?? No fu**ING thanks!
