Default Side Rocker Question

I'm not saying i know it all but, i kinda know the basics on the patches it a big no-no if you wear a 3pp if you haven't got the ok from a dominate MC in your area.

really any patch that you haven't earned is just kinda poser-ish. but i have to ask.

i want to put a side patch on my vest that says" So. Cal" the only real reason why i want it is because mainly this is my state, I grow up here and im very proud of were im from thats it.

anyone care to put some light on this.

I would say definitely not. putting an area rocker on is a big deal. And before the peanut gallery chimes in, I will say: yes, you can wear whatever you want, you are in America, you are a grown-up, there is the 2nd ammendment, blahblahblah.

realize what consequences that may come and if its worth it, go ahead.

What I would do if I were you and I truely wanted a patch to show my support for my beloved state is first sow an American Flag patch (in the proper direction of course) and a state flag patch beneath that.

That might not be "biker" enough for some, or at least what some peoples ideas may be, but it would accomplish what you want to accomplish and would actually be in traditional American custom if I may...

just a thought, but what do I know...

Not a great idea. I am not a 1%er, but I do know that "claiming territory" is a touchy subject in that world. If you plan on wearing that when you ride, be prepared for someone, someday bothering you about it.

For starters, "So. Cal" isn't a state.

Secondly, you state patches you haven't earned are poser-ish. Have you done something to earn wearing this one?

I agree with this one, its the best way to show support for our fledging country and where you are from with out showing territory, you might know why you have SO CAL but clubs members wont care for your reason, guarantee someone might ask what it means for you and who you represent(as in who you support), and if you dont answer in the way you like, or even if you do they might make an example of you by turning you into pudding
