Liz you've been around this forum much longer than I have and you know with the general population that comes through here somebody will have one , it's just the nature of the beast . After reading this thread I'll give even money said person is really reconsidering just how " Cool " that addition isn't anymore so I doubt we'll be hearing any defense for owning one .

 

If your gonna put a fake kickstart on your bike ya might as well put a fake rider on it too. Makes as much sense.

 

Years back I seen where someone was selling a kit to make your car/truck/whatever sound like it was supercharged.

Turned out it was a fan blade with holes in it, not sure what they charged for it, but I bet the JC Whitney crowd went nuts over it.

Thinking about putting a Hurst Compitetion Plus shifter out the old ladies gas tank filler...no..no..not her, her bike....

Personally I think anybody who'd add one of these belongs to the yuppie weekday accountant, weekend Biker groups.
Can't look too cool ya know.
