I could do something like that for a reminder like remove rotor lock before leaving,but I would remove bandanna before riding off,as it would bother me riding with it on their.Kinda like having a bunch of stuff hanging from rear view mirror in my truck,no way.

Man, after reading the 1st page, I feel kinda slo with my reason for the hankie on the bars. I think I saw here that when you see a bike on the side of the road with a rag tied on the left grip, that bike is in trouble & needs help. Ok, I said it & don't feel a bit smarter. I still want a pair of CARIBOU gloves. Nor have we figgured out how to post a photo of the "BLACK BEAUTY."

Around here (IL) it means nothing..I tie one for the same reason, just dont want it in my pocket..Its handy for cleanin glasses and wipin off bugs or worse case it can been handy to control bleeding...

 

I thought the red ones meant wide load?
